Location: Battersea, Hybrid

Reporting to: Merchandiser

We are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join us! Working closely with your Merchandiser and the Buying team, you'll play an important role in the planning and delivery of your department through strong analysis and commercial insight - helping to put the right product in the right place at the right time.

A peek into your daily adventures:

• Support the WSSI, OTB and seasonal reforecasting process, using current trade, customer demand and lessons learnt to shape commercially balanced plans

• Turn weekly, seasonal and ad hoc trading data into clear insight, actions and recommendations for the Merchandiser and wider team

• Analyse sales, stock, intake, sell-through, margin and availability by channel, store and product area to identify opportunities and risks

• Proactively track live trade and stock health, escalating risks and recommending actions that optimise sales, margin and customer experience

• Partner with Retail, Ecommerce, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to resolve stock queries, delivery issues and capacity challenges

• Coordinate price changes, promotions and markdown set-up accurately across systems

• Provide day-to-day guidance to Merchandising Admin Assistants, and deputise for your Merchandiser in trading meetings when needed

Skills that make you shine:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or advanced Merchandising Administrative Assistant

• Excellent numerate and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret trends and performance data to inform commercial decisions

• Proficient in Excel and confident using merchandising systems, including WSSI

• Able to multitask and prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• A strong collaborator, able to build positive cross-functional relationships to understand customer and buying trends
