Location: Battersea, Hybrid

Reporting to: Head of People

We are looking for a People Partner to to play a central role in bringing our People Plan to life. You'll be a trusted, commercially-minded partner to leaders across the business — someone who can combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, pragmatic approach to get the best out of our people.

This is a genuine leadership role: you'll lead a team of four (Recruitment Advisor, People Advisor, Workplace Coordinator and People Assistant) and regularly deputise for the Head of People, giving you real exposure to strategic decision-making.

A peek into your daily adventures:

• Partnering with People Leaders to turn business priorities into practical people strategies that drive performance, engagement and retention

• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing People Team

• Owning talent and succession planning across the business, including early careers

• Acting as the escalation point for complex or sensitive employee relations cases, and coaching leaders to handle people matters confidently and fairly

• Overseeing HR systems, data and reporting, and driving improvements that make life easier across the business

• Championing culture, engagement and inclusion, and leading on organisational change and restructures where needed

Skills that make you shine:

• Experience in an HR Business Partner or senior generalist role, with a strong commercial mindset

• A track record of managing and developing a team

• Solid working knowledge of UK employment law, including handling complex or high-risk ER cases

• A confident, credible communicator who builds relationships and influences at all levels

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities pragmatically

• Experience in a retail, multi-site or remote business,

• CIPD Level 5/7 (preferable but not essential)
